Chapter 2 (IBSPC)

That day she could feel keenly the fact that the Turkish Angora species’ jumping power was not so good.

The reason was simple.

She was about to cross the wall, but she bumped into it and fainted.

“Nyaong…..” (My head…..)

She carefully pinched the bump that protruded from her forehead with the cotton-like paws.

The first faint in her life shouldn’t have come like this.

Human….no, cat pride is not the word.

She ended up losing all her freedom and got trapped in a narrow cage by the men who were chasing her.

She sighed as she was gently rubbing her fur and nose, which were still tingling, with her soft paws.

“Meow.” (Oh, poor me.)

After a while, as the pain subsided, she rolled her front feet together and looked around sharply in a so-called baking position.

‘There are a lot of cats who are in the same position as me.’

In the dark room that looked like a warehouse, there were several cages of cats caught like me.

And the people who caught her sat around the table chatting.

“Oh, it was especially hard today. How long do we have to do this? The whole capital is full of cats.”

“He said he was going to send it to the new governor, so everyone is looking for it with sparkly eyes. It has a special meaning to the seniors.”

Hmm. Special meaning.

The unexpected information gave her pink ears.

‘I don’t think they’re going to hurt me.’

It seems that he didn’t drag her all the way here to kill or eat her.

The fact alone was quite reassuring.

“You just need to pick and raise the good-blooded ones. What do you mean, get the stray cats? They say those who grew up on the street are cheap.”

“That’s right. I was wondering how much trouble was caused, especially by the white cat that was captured at the end… this guy.”

One of them got up from his seat and lightly kicked the cage she was in.

“Kyaang…” (Why are you touching a person who stays still?)

She was full of anger, and she loosened the bread position and raised her tail.

And while keeping her body rounded as much as possible, she revealed her ferocious teeth.

Take it, baby cat’s deadly mandible!

“Oh, my God!”

On the other hand, she took the most threatening posture.

However, sadly, the pet’s insignificant mandible was only cutely illuminated.

When they smirked and laughed at her outright, her pride soared to the tip of her tail.

‘No, these bastards?’

Were they treating her like a cat when she says, “Let’s wait and see”?!

Even though she had now such a shabby figure, she, as a personality, could stand this situation.

“Kyaang, kyaang!!” (I’m big and strong!)

She’s inflated her whole body’s fur with the power she had gathered up for being feed up.

She didn’t forget to stretch her front feet so she could look taller, but the only thing that came back was cold ridicule.

Her tail trembled with anger.

Eventually, she lost her temper but still protested fiercely, hitting the cage grate with her head.

“Nyan! Meow! Meow!” (You’re all dead. Open the door right now! I’ll show you what’s fear clearly!)

…Although she said that, there was no one who would sincerely listen to her intentions.

“Huh, that little guy has a nasty personality.”

“Don’t say that. We were commanded to catch the odd-eye cat and watch, right? That’s the worst thing I’ve ever captured.”

What does he mean by that?

Are you dealing with things now?

“Nyaong……” (Suggestion……)

Feeling depressed, she sat down on the cold floor of the cage again with her ears drooping.

“The inauguration of the general is close, so Evalan will be here soon. We’ll be busy tomorrow too, so let’s go.”

“Huh… the cat he’s looking for should be among them.”

All the people rushed out complaining.

Inside the warehouse echoed the sound of dozens of cats whining and crying.

What the hell were they saying?

She became a cat like them, but unfortunately, she couldn’t understand them at all.

‘If I could talk to them, I might feel better…’

But, for her now, the cat’s crying was just an annoying noise.

“Meow…….” (Lonely…….)

Feeling that she was about to burst into tears, she quickly covered her eyes with her paws.

‘Let’s be positive. It might be safer now than living outside.’

One day she suddenly became a stray cat, and she was chased by people by day and scary allay cats by night.

‘Being locked up like I’m now feels safe.’

It was not easy for a small kitten like her to live alone on the street.

She had to search the trash can every day to get something to eat, and all she could drink was when it rained.

The little kitty, who had no one to care of, was about to die of sickness or starvation.

And she hadn’t eaten anything all day long.

“Meow…….” (Thirsty…….)

She could stand being hungry, but not being thirsty.

‘Ugh, if you’ve to get me, you’re gonna have to give me something.’

I won’t ask for human rights, so guarantee basic rights, you bastards!

In a dissatisfied mood, she beat the floor with her cotton ball-like paws.

‘Did I do anything bad in my past life, so I have to be like this?’

“Meow.” (Haehyo.)

With her ears drooping, she looked up at the window with a depressed face.
